Choosing your session

30, 60, or 90 minutes — and which therapy to pick

Massage is one of the better-studied ways to ease muscle tension and settle the body. According to the NCCIH, massage therapy may help with pain, stress, and relaxation, and Mayo Clinic describes easing stress and tense muscles as part of how relaxation techniques work.

On length: a 30-minute session ($50) is a focused reset — one sore spot, a tight neck, a short break in the day. 60 minutes ($100) is the standard full-body session, and 90 minutes ($160) gives your therapist time to work slowly and thoroughly without rushing any one area. The American Massage Therapy Association notes that the benefits for stress and muscle tension tend to build with a full session and regular visits rather than a single rushed one.

On which therapy: pick hot stone with scraping if you respond well to heat — warmed basalt stones plus gua sha work along tight muscle. Choose cupping if you're curious about traditional suction therapy; be aware it usually leaves temporary circular marks — the same biology as a light bruise, not "toxins" — and the NCCIH notes there isn't enough high-quality research to draw firm conclusions about its benefits. And choose the iRelaxbot if you want consistent, even pressure in a fully private session — no undressing in front of anyone, no small talk.

One more thing worth knowing: many California cities require massage professionals to be CAMTC-certified (California Massage Therapy Council) — you're welcome to ask about your therapist's credentials when you book.

Visiting with someone? A couples massage puts two of you side by side in the couples room for 60 or 90 minutes. Not sure? The FAQ covers the common questions, or call us and we'll help you choose.

Before you book

Menu questions, answered

How do I book?
Book online through Fresha — every service on this page is listed there at the same price — or call (818) 540-8060. We're open every day, 10 AM to 9 PM.
Deep tissue or Swedish — which should I choose?
Both are the same Signature Massage — just tell us which you'd like. Swedish uses lighter, flowing strokes for overall relaxation; deep tissue works more slowly and firmly into tight muscle. You can also ask your therapist to adjust the pressure mid-session.
What's the iRelaxbot?
The iRelaxbot is a robotic massage bed that delivers consistent, even pressure in a fully private session — three programs at 30, 40, or 50 minutes. Read the full iRelaxbot guide before you try it.
Do you take walk-ins?
Calling ahead is the safest way to check same-day availability, and booking online is the surest way to guarantee your time slot.
